The other day, coworkers who had read the blog asked me why I don't talk about Chucky. They pointed out that I have said most of what you can say about FvJ. While they may be right, I leave Chucky out of this because Child’s Play is a better movie than FvJ. 


While I may have qualms and issues with some parts of that movie, it's not enough to waste time discussing it. As we grow closer to the end of this project, I will admit I am throwing things at the wall to see what sticks. A lot does, and a low doesn't. 


I have tracked my view counts, and we are popular in Hong Kong! So, I hope I am doing something right there. This went from barely 100 views a month to over 700 now. I have no idea if what I'm writing is being read, so I'll take what I can get. Things could tank or take off. I've been told by AdSense well over twenty times that this is low-value content, duh. 


The project has always been about FVJ; Chucky is the palate cleanser. 


Today was Reflection Day as we got closer to the last 100 days!!!

November 22nd 2023  Day Twenty Three has arrived. Does Will Know About Freddy? I feel comfortable saying he did not know about Freddy until Jason came to Elm Street. He was only quarantined because he witnessed Lori’s mom being murdered. It was never established either that he had any prior knowledge. There is a line of dialogue in which he ruined our pasts. Lori says that near the end of the movie. What is being held back concerning their past? Given her father is the hypno drug pusher, Lori would never know of Freddy. Is their past Lori’s mom dying? Were they the last victims of Freddy, and that’s why he went after her mom. Was Will accusing Lori’s dad of murdering the event that ruined their past? The movie never fleshes out that plot point. It is never implied that the main cast, except for Mark and those covering up the crimes, had knowledge of Freddy. I still do believe that everything was blamed on Freddy in the town! We did it!

  Day 365 October 29th, 2024 I did it!  I have successfully watched Freddy vs Jason for an entire year.  I also watched Child’s Play for a year and my only regret with that was not writing more about it.  The project started as watching both, tracking both and only writing about one. It’s hard to come up with new content every day. But we are not finished yet.. There is more to come. Project ends in two days!
