Mother’s Day!

 Day 195

Happy Mother’s Day, Pamela Vorhees

Without you, none of this would have happened. Jason would have never been the ruthless killer that he is.

Onto the last chapter in this saga. I cannot imagine this being any different from the film.

Chapter 21

It would have been cool to see Jason getting hit in the face with one of the gas tanks. Nope, we get that only in the book.

Jason’s mask got cracked from being hit by a gas tank to the face, and the cart that sent him and Freddy hurling to the end of the dock. I find it funny that the cracks in the film are eerily similar to past attacks on the mask from previous Friday films.

So far, the book and film go hand in hand—no deviation from either.

Freddy stabbing Jason’s eyes is pretty graphic in the book. He stabbed through the eyes, into the skull, and brain grey matter. The book confirmed that Jason was blind after that and moving off pure instincts.

Freddy feared the fire coming towards him, and Jason on the dock was fitting for him.

Freddy’s hat and sweater burned off from the dock explosion. Pretty sure in the movie, he lost his hat being hurled from the construction site to the dock.

The book confirmed that Jason’s eyes did regenerate.

The chapter ends with Lori wanting to repair the relationship with her father, and her and Will needing to see Sherrif Williams.

No Jason coming out of the lake with Freddy’s head. It is presumed that he died.

But wait…
