Final Book Thoughts
Day 198
May 15th, 2024
I want to share my thoughts on the book before we move forward with the subsequent phases of the project. In my opinion, the book is an excellent adaptation of the film, with some additional events that enhance the overall experience.
What I appreciated the most about the book was the extension of events both in the movie and those that were not. The author did an excellent job weaving in new storylines and plot twists that kept me engaged throughout the book. For instance, the revelation that Sheriff Williams was the one who threw the first Molotov Cocktail was a game-changer for me.
Additionally, the early theories about Bobby's death confirmed in the book added a new layer of intrigue to the story. The epilogue was also a great touch, it did not give me a sense of closure after finishing the book. It leaves things open for a sequel. Also, did Freddy kill Lori? We will never know.
Overall, I found the book to be a highly entertaining read, and I pictured the film's scenes in my mind while reading, which added to the overall experience.
