Apart from this, no significant deviations exist between the book and the movie, including the deleted scenes. The group narrowly escaped from the recreation hall. Meanwhile, Freddy and Jason's epic battle continued in reality.


The demise of Linderman in the book is truly heart-wrenching. Despite being severely injured, he fought hard to stay alive for the sake of Kia. Interestingly, we also learn that his real name is Charlie.


Kia’s insults towards Freddy in the book are funny, especially when she insults his mother. That F word is in the book.

The chapter ends with Lori stating that she needs to see Freddy die.

In the initial stages of this project, my primary focus was on Freddy vs Jason. However, after 300 days, I found it necessary to diversify and acknowledge that I've also dedicated a significant amount of time to watching Child's Play.

Completion anxiety

  Day 312 September 6, 2024 I've just realized that as the deadline approaches, I need to watch the Spanish version of Child's Play in order to fully complete that part of the project. On another note, I'm still making progress with listening to the book. This will certainly help me when it comes to reading the final four scripts, as I'll have a better understanding of the background and context.
