Day 129

 Day 129

March 7th, 2024

The dream giveaway.

When Gibb and Kia are waiting for Lori to wake up from fainting, there is a dead giveaway that we are in a dream. I was hoping you could pay attention to the nurses' desk and notice a sign I previously spoke about.

The nurse can't help you.

I believe this could be interpreted as a premonition of things to come. They indicate that the adults in Springwood are incapable of helping the children. They seem to be complicit in suppressing Freddy, the actual evil entity of the film. They will not help you because they do not want to help you; they would prefer to lock you up and forget about you.

It could be interpreted as you are fucked. It's Freddy taunting the kids and letting them know their time is ending, whether done by him or Jason.

Was it possibly done for humor? It could have been a joke by the nurses on the kids to tell them to leave them alone basically.

I feel it was used as a transition from film reality when they first got to the nurse's office. Then we see the sign and Kia flipping through the magazine, and we start seeing surgical photos of body modifications and nose surgeries. Then Freddy gets her nose, and she wakes up.
