Day 1 2 3

 Day 123

March 1st, 2024

As the project progresses, I am increasingly convinced that the film's rating will take another hit. The more I analyze it, the more I realize that the movie is inherently flawed and intellectually unstimulating.

The teenagers' illogical decision-making, the bizarre behavior of the adults, and the poor portrayal of both Freddy and Jason all contribute to this mind-numbing experience. The movie's only redeeming quality is the fight scene between the two horror icons on the big screen. Unfortunately, even that is not enough to satisfy the fans, as the portrayal of Jason falls short of their expectations.

The filmmakers behind Freddy vs Jason had a wealth of material to draw inspiration from - nearly twenty films. Yet, they struggled to create a cohesive story. They overlooked the most obvious solution: incorporating the internet into the plot.

Imagine this: Freddy's legend spreads like wildfire online on forums like 4chan. Meanwhile, a group of teenagers at Camp Crystal Lake stumble upon the stories and are terrorized. Suddenly, Freddy is brought into the real world, and he and Jason engage in an epic battle. Nobody comes out victorious, and all the characters, including the survivors, meet their demise.

This narrative is far superior to what we got on screen, and it only took me a few minutes to come up with. Despite its flaws, the film was made and released, but it's clear that the filmmakers missed an opportunity to create a genuinely compelling story.
