Super Sunday 104
Day 104
February 11th, 2024
Today is the Swift Bowl, oops I mean the Super Bowl. Will I be watching the game? Nope. Would I have watched the game if the NFL cared more about the game than Taylor Swift? Yes. I say I won’t watch the game but I’ll tune in every so often just to check the score.
This blog is not about the Super Bowl or my opinion of the NFL riding the Swift wave to stay somewhat relevant ratings-wise. It’s about my journey in watching Freddy vs Jason.
Today I joined X and did the simplicity of just posting the QR code to get to the blog. As of today, the project is on Blogger, Threads, Facebook and now X. I sold my soul to the devil haha.
I had my second breakfast with Freddy and Jason viewing and it was great. It would be nice if it was like the character breakfast at Disney. Just imagine having breakfast with someone dressed as Freddy and Jason. I would want their costumes to not look like the amazing cosplay costumes, I want costumes like theme park characters. That would provide much-needed comedy for the morning.
Today’s focus is a continuation of yesterday’s theory of Springwood containing Freddy within the walls of Westin Hills.
To me, it makes logical sense to contain Freddy now. If you have him just locked into one central location and now and then you overdose a patient to serve up to Freddy, one would think that would be enough to keep his spirit alive. Just look at Mark early on in the film, he is in Westin and is very aware of Freddy. Will has to tell him to quit talking about this dream demon shit.
That to me shows that Freddy does live within the walls of Westin Hills. They have zero outside contact with the outside world, if they did Freddy would be taking the town over yet again. What causes Freddy to get bored at Westin and want to branch out?
I am going out on a limb and going to say it’s because it’s not fun to stalk and eventually kill comatose kids or adults. Your fear cannot spread, Freddy is not getting any more powerful, if not, he is more than likely becoming weaker and being manipulated by Dr. Campbell and those at Westin Hills.
How did we get to Freddy being contained in Westin Hills? This is short and sweet. The death of Dr. Campbell’s wife may have caused him to make some sort of deal with Freddy and in return, he could have his pickings at those in Westin Hills. Security would be tightened up, there would no longer be any outside contact with the world, and they would be under their laws in Westin Hills. They may have noticed that Freddy was getting stronger so they had a plan to overdose patients to slow him down and take back control of Westin Hills while offering some new patients now and then to Freddy.
That would explain the four years of peace and why everyone got all bent out of shape with people escaping Westin Hills and saying his name so that more could hear it.
