As the weather begins to turn nice, it is only getting worse for those who live in Springwood, Ohio. They already have a battle at hand, which is to contain Freddy Krueger, now they have to deal with another threat that they do not find as important as Freddy.

Who is this tall, rather handsome fella in a hockey mask? Did the hockey team from a nearby city get stuck in town and he is just looking for a ride back home? Is he a homeless man just trying to get a rise out of the community. Only one person in this town did their due diligence and knows who he is and why he is more of a threat than this man who haunts your dreams.

Today we salute Deputy Scott Stubbs for being the smartest officer in the Springwood PD. The other officers have stupid ideas of containing your dreams and cast off this man as non-threatening. You know of his lore and that he is indeed real. Most of all you paid the ultimate price standing up to him. You will be missed but forgotten because the Springwood PD will cover up your death and blame someone else who did not kill you.

Freddy may be manipulating this man, but Jason marches to the beat of his own drum. He cannot be stopped, just slowed down. Even at being slowed down he will always overcome the odds and slash each person before him just to make his mother proud of him. He may not win any beauty contests but he doesn’t have to. He may look like another handsome gentleman named Sloth, the brother of Chunk who is well known for discovering One-eyed Willie’s fortune.

Holding onto a memory

  Day 310 September 4th, 2024 As a child, I believe that my experience of being frightened by a My Buddy doll is what has instilled in me a deep appreciation for Chucky. It's a memory that has both positive and negative aspects, and over time, I've come to value its impact on my life. Since 1988, I've held onto a vivid memory. Over time, I transitioned from being terror-stricken by anything related to horror to developing an appreciation for horror films. In the initial stages of this project, my primary focus was on Freddy vs Jason. However, after 300 days, I found it necessary to diversify and acknowledge that I've also dedicated a significant amount of time to watching Child's Play.

Completion anxiety

  Day 312 September 6, 2024 I've just realized that as the deadline approaches, I need to watch the Spanish version of Child's Play in order to fully complete that part of the project. On another note, I'm still making progress with listening to the book. This will certainly help me when it comes to reading the final four scripts, as I'll have a better understanding of the background and context.
