Day 97
Day 97

Why are they willing to trust Will and Mark?
It is safe to assume that they never knew of Mark and that Will met him in Westin Hills. Sounds like a smart group of kids in my opinion. Let’s trust this guy who is deathly afraid of Freddy and whose brother more than likely died from Freddy and not suicide. Not to mention let’s trust Lori’s boyfriend from when she was fourteen. Again, trusting strangers is never a good thing. This all could have been avoided if they had shown Will and Mark the door, or at least led them to the cops. But no.
So it’s okay to trust Will because he dated Lori when they were fourteen, he’s a good guy, yet the guy who claimed that her father killed her mom. He is as guilty in this as Mark. Granted though, Will is more level-headed and doesn’t spread fear like his Westin Hills counterpart.
Mark is the so-called Freddy “expert” so that should make everyone feel safe. If he was an expert on Freddy he would have known to keep his damn mouth shut instead of inadvertently helping Freddy. Was it inadvertently? The jury is still out on that.
These teens cannot be that foolish to trust fearmongers. But the not-so-empathetic teens who have tragedy around them simply trust the accomplices to Freddy’s one kill and Jason’s many. They are that foolish and then some.
When will people ever learn in these movies!!!
Gross fact. Freddy is implied to be into necrophilia.
