Nothing to report today that’s worthwhile.

I just haven’t been into watching the movie this week. It’s like a terrible version of Groundhog Day. Do my day-to-day stuff and then waste a portion of my day watching the film. I can’t take a break because I would not be staying faithful to the viewings. I could look into stretching out viewing times.

Either way, it’s still the same movie. Jason comes off like an oaf; Freddy is at his least threatening in any of the nightmare movies, including that reboot. A group of Winey kids slowly die off, leaving us with two of the weakest final people. I like that they stole the final male and female from Nightmare 2. I also like that they took inspiration from almost every Nightmare movie, but I am also angry that they gave zero love to the Friday movies outside of making Jason the presumed winner. Sadly, nobody won that fight. Not even the fans.
