Day 76

January 14th, 2024

The only thing I noticed in today’s watching was that I was in a bad mood all day. I do not know if it is because of the cold temps, silly people calling and asking us and asking the same question are you open? The HVAC units going down for two and a half hours, or people not understanding what no or nope means and then having the balls to not listen after I try explaining to them that I cannot essentially move heaven and earth to accommodate something that we do not offer anymore.

Oh well, I guess 2020 did a shitty job at teaching people that it is okay to stay indoors when needed, but nowadays we just take our kids out when there are travel alerts sayings do not travel and risk not only your life but theirs as well. I guess the fear of missing out is a real thing and a problem in my opinion. It just proves my point further that people do not like to be told what to do no matter what age or generation they come from. Mostly everything can wait.

The 17 gallons of milk and 32 loaves of bread you bought in fear of running out of milk and bread can wait because they probably don’t drink or eat that much bread. The only time I can understand over buying essentials is if you live in an area where it takes days to plow the roads. It is those I feel that live in-town that do that just to be a dick.

At least I have good ole FVJ to fall back on when times are odd. I have noticed that I get lost in the sheer stupidity of this movie that it has become quite entertaining to hate. It is not the worst thing I have seen and it is not like Seed of Chucky that I will defend to this very day on being ahead of its time. I don’t get why people hate that movie but to each one's own I guess.

If there is one thing I truly hate in this movie it would be caterpillar Freddy. I get the nod to Alice in Wonderland, but outside of that, it does nothing for the movie except add in stoner comedy which is what the movie does not need.

It's a memory that has both positive and negative aspects, and over time, I've come to value its impact on my life. Since 1988, I've held onto a vivid memory. Over time, I transitioned from being terror-stricken by anything related to horror to developing an appreciation for horror films. In the initial stages of this project, my primary focus was on Freddy vs Jason. However, after 300 days, I found it necessary to diversify and acknowledge that I've also dedicated a significant amount of time to watching Child's Play.

Completion anxiety

  Day 312 September 6, 2024 I've just realized that as the deadline approaches, I need to watch the Spanish version of Child's Play in order to fully complete that part of the project. On another note, I'm still making progress with listening to the book. This will certainly help me when it comes to reading the final four scripts, as I'll have a better understanding of the background and context.
