Cautionary Tale
Day 239
June 25, 2024
It's interesting to note that in this movie, there is a lack of parental figures apart from Lori's father. This absence of parental supervision raises questions about the role of Freeberg's parents in the narrative. Why would they disclose information about Freddy to him? Perhaps they perceive the entire narrative surrounding Freddy to be inaccurate. Alternatively, they may not fully comprehend the town's concerted efforts to eliminate Freddy. It's also possible that they are not actively involved in the town's plan to combat Freddy. Another possibility is that they possess knowledge about Freddy but are indifferent to the situation. Do they believe that the town's efforts to thwart Freddy are merely a ploy to control the teenagers of Springwood? The fact that Freeberg's parents informed him about Freddy is intriguing. Regardless of whether this information is authentic or fabricated, one would expect individuals familiar with the town's history and the myth of Freddy to exercise caution when discussing this topic.
