Regeneration?!?

If Jason can regenerate now, I wonder what happens if he loses his head like Freddy did. Would Jason be dead, or in the film's scope, would that odd-shaped parasite escape his body and possess people again until it magically found another Voorhees?


I want to think that Jason would be dead, with zero regeneration. Why? Zombie-killing rules apply. Ideally, just cutting off the head wouldn't kill Jason; you have to destroy the brain. But what if Jason is one of those zombies that must be dismembered to die? If so, that would explain why his fingers didn't regenerate. His eyes just got stabbed and not dislodged from the skull.


I couldn't imagine Jason growing his head back. That would be fucking weird. All Freddy had to do was stab… wait, wait... Freddy stabs the skull of Jason in the third dream sequence. He stabbed into the brain of young Jason, and he was still alive, so that changed my pov on this. Jason has to be the zombie that needs to be dismembered to die.

Day 51 December 20th, 2023  So again, I am just watching the movie for the sake of watching it. As much as I want to review more deleted scenes or sequences today, I am not feeling it. I am starting to wonder if this will take a toll on me mentally. It is like a daily chore like brushing your teeth or showering just to watch it. One hundred and nine days of agony!

  Day 109 February 16th, 2024 Hi Jethro! Today is a simple day of recollection. I did watch the movie but I wanted to pivot again from writing about the film and any crackpot theories I may have as my sanity slowly slips away into the abyss called Crystal Lake. I haven't been in the best of moods all week and I continue writing daily because I find it to be cathartic. I am not a fan of the Hallmark holiday and I am not a fan of the blood work results I received. One would think that I should just abandon the project and shift focus to myself. What if I were to simply ride the wave of consistency and start making changes for myself? After all, this is my one go at life and I would be pretty pissed if it came to an abrupt ending. Day 100

Day 100 February 7th, 2024 Is it over? I will be the first to admit that the first 100 days were tough. It all seems easy on paper but in practice this sucks. I feel like I could have applied myself to something better and something that could improve my overall mental state along with my health. Instead, I do the opposite and strangely I am somewhat okay with that. Theories... Theories... Theories. I have written quite a few theories about this movie and to be honest that is what is making the project fun. The movie is pretty much cut and dry but for me to survive I have to look into the film and find some deeper meaning towards certain aspects. Do I honestly feel that some of the crackpot theories I’ve written hold some weight, yes. It is my opinion of things and how I see them and in ways envisioned them and interpreted them.
