Day 144

 Day 144

March 22nd, 2024

Another day in the Land of FvJ!

Today is a fun topic, or is it? Why do the kids at the school look disgusted and annoyed with Lori, Gibb, and Kia? I have seen the school scenes repeatedly and find it funny, but it is a much deeper scene.

None of the kids at school look like they are mourning the loss of two students and possible friends. They are going on with their life like nothing has happened. They look at the group disgusted, ashamed of them, and annoyed. But what makes this even more odd is at the rave, some of the students start talking about what happened and what the cops said. So, why act disgusted?

I feel that there is something at play here, and it's Freddy. He managed to single out that group to get their fellow peers to believe that they had killed Trey. In a way, he is turning everyone against them so that they can play into Freddy’s game.

Freddy is perfect in creating isolation between his victims and everyone else around them. The film does a fantastic job of showing how Freddy creates that isolation. Seeing the adults wanting to contain, throwing kids into Westin Hills, and how the kids act at school towards them are perfect demonstrations of creating isolation. The group only adds Stubs, Linderman, and Freeberg because they are willing to listen to them, while others look at them as outcasts and probably killers.
