Day 52

Today is December 21st, 2023, which marks Day 52. Something sad that I want to share is that I am currently listening to a movie instead of watching it. However, visualizing the scenes in my mind is therapeutic for me. Although I have the film playing on my phone, my mind is elsewhere, which is why I am skipping the deleted scenes. My favorite Christmas movie is Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale, and I regret not choosing it for my year-long assignment. Nonetheless, I don't want to get annoyed with the movie and end up taking a long break from watching it.

Moving on to another topic, I have an update on the case of the missing Scooby Van. I heard that it was parked outside someone's house, and unfortunately, the owner left the keys in the door.

Day 51 December 20th, 2023  So again, I am just watching the movie for the sake of watching it. As much as I want to review more deleted scenes or sequences today, I am not feeling it. I am starting to wonder if this will take a toll on me mentally. It is like a daily chore like brushing your teeth or showering just to watch it. I know that I have a lot going on outside of watching the film, and seasonal depression is probably kicking in if you couldn't tell from some of the anti-Christmas stuff I was saying yesterday. For the record, I once liked Christmas, then I saw how dysfunctional my family became after my father passed away, and we were able to only get a handful of good Christmas Eve nights.   Day 106 February 13th, 2024 Someday this movie will change. Ah hell, who am I kidding it will not change. After 106 viewings I am surprised that I am not bored with the movie yet. I always find something new or try to view the movie differently. So, I guess changing things up in a way keeps this project going. I know that as this continues, I am bound to lose my mind. But who is to say that I haven't already lost my mind? Today's viewing was back to the basics. No 2x viewing, and no other thrills as in watching the movie in unusual places. Granted that I enjoy watching the film in unusual places. I feel I have one place to complete those viewings and that would be in the bathroom. Honestly, I do not know if I would ever do that. The less time spent in the bathroom the better. It also would raise questions as to what I am doing. One hundred and nine days of agony!

  Day 109 February 16th, 2024 Hi Jethro! Today is a simple day of recollection. I did watch the movie but I wanted to pivot again from writing about the film and any crackpot theories I may have as my sanity slowly slips away into the abyss called Crystal Lake. I haven't been in the best of moods all week and I continue writing daily because I find it to be cathartic. I am not a fan of the Hallmark holiday and I am not a fan of the blood work results I received. One would think that I should just abandon the project and shift focus to myself. What if I were to simply ride the wave of consistency and start making changes for myself? After all, this is my one go at life and I would be pretty pissed if it came to an abrupt ending.
