The Dream.. Day 148
Day 148
March 26th, 2024
Eye spy with my little eye, missing clothes returning!
The reason behind Jason's inability to die in the film is never explained, which leaves a significant plot hole. When we first encounter him, he is decaying, yet he miraculously regenerates. This inconsistency undermines the film's credibility and leaves the audience puzzled.
It seems like Jason is lifeless, and the idea of Freddy being able to create a life by invading the subconsciousness of a deceased person doesn't seem to make any sense. I will come back to that topic tomorrow.
The movie would have been better if it had dedicated some time to elaborate on the reason behind Jason's invincibility, as it would have helped the audience comprehend and appreciate the character's unique trait. A little explanation could have gone a long way in making the film more engaging and immersive.
Do you think there's a possibility that this was a deliberate move? Could they have already planned for a sequel that would not just be a generic continuation but would delve into Jason's immortal nature and connect it to The Evil Dead series?
Freddy vs Jason vs Ash is the sequel treatment for Freddy vs Jason. Therefore, it only seems logical to address the glaring plot hole of Pamela, stating that Jason can never die in a sequel.
